bikerodeo

Norte! is teaming up with Remember To Love and the Cherry Capital Cycling Club to host the 2nd Annual Bike Safety Rodeo on Saturday, May 16th from 10:30-2:30 (it’s an “open house” so come when’ev) at The Traverse City Central High School.

It’s going to rock.

Here’s 10 reasons why you should come:

1. Chance to win one of 2 Trek mountain bikes in a free raffle.
2. Moomers!
3. Free bike tune ups by Recycle-A-Bicycle and area bike shops.
4. Show off your bike handling abilities in the skills course.
5. Dominate your buddies in the slow race contest.
6. Get your helmet on right with Munson Trauma/The Kohl’s Foundation.
7. Learn the “rules of the road” with the Traverse City Police and Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Departments.
8. Score swag! Lights, a bell, and safety lit for each rodeo’er. Plus that cone of Moomers, of course.
9. The Traverse City Fire Department will be teaching basic first aid skills.
10. Learn more about Norte! and what we do including The Bike Mas Project, The Great Traverse City Bike Train Experiment and Traverse City Bikes To School Day.
