The Traverse City Cookie Ride: Kids, Mountain Bikes and Sugary Snacks
Kids + Mountain bikes + Cookies = A+
In partnership with the generous people at Breakaway Cafe, we are stoked to host the first ever Traverse City Cookie Ride.
This Sunday, October 15th.
Meet at Timber Ridge at 11:45. Rolling at noon.
WHO CAN COME?
All awesome kids and their families are welcome no matter their mountain bike experience or skill.
HOW FAR IS THE RIDE?
5 distances to choose from:
1 mile – Paved loop around Timber Ridge for our balance bike superstars
3 miles – Flat and easy on the Fatbike + Riley’s loop for our youngest shredders
6 miles – Flat’ish Fatbike + Kinglet + Riley’s loop for beginner riders
7 miles – Iceman’s hilly Slush Cup course for our intermediate riders
15 miles – Big Vasa loop for advanced riders
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
1. A mountain bike that functions. It doesn’t need to be fancy but it should roll, shift and stop.
2. A helmet.
3. A water bottle.
Vasa Domingos is a weekly group ride for families where we ride bikes on dirt, get fit, explore the woods, build confidence and have FUN. We 100% support kids who know their way and have the necessary skills to ride alone/sans adult but we ask that parents ride with their child if not.
WHAT WILL NORTE! BRING?
The cookies, of course. Thanks, Breakaway! Love ya.
IS IT FREE?
DO I NEED TO REGISTER?
Nope. Just show up at Timber Ridge.
