Michigan’s Largest Youth Mountain Bike Team Stands on the Shoulders of Giants

As Michigan’s largest youth mountain bike team hits the trails this fall, we want to thank all those who have made the Grand Traverse region shine. This is an amazing place to ride bikes.

Gratitude to: Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association, Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, TART Trails, Leelanau Conservancy, Bike Leelanau, Glacial Hills Trails, Michigan DNR, and Grand Traverse Conservation District.

From Glacial Hills Trails to Palmer Woods Forest Reserve to the VASA to Maplehurst to Lost Lake Pathway to the Boardman River Trail and Commons, Team Orange is dedicated to connecting kids to the trails in their backyard.

43 head coaches backed by 38 assistant coaches at 6 practice locations across the region will instill a love of bikes and safe, healthy, active living to 270 kids from 36 area schools.

None of this would be possible without our many wonderful land and trail organizations.

We are standing on the shoulders of giants.

Thank you.
