Norte’s Youth Mountain Bike Program
No offense to football, soccer or hockey, but there’s magic to be found on a bicycle. It’s more than sport or recreation, bikes are for life. Bikes are freedom. Bikes are transportation. Bikes are adventure. Bikes are happiness.
“There is nothing, absolutely nothing, quite so worthwhile as simply messing about on bicycles.”
– Tom Kunich
Norte’s Youth Mountain Bike Program is made up of 100+ stellar elementary, middle, and high school students from the Grand Traverse region. Like all our bike programs, this program unleashes their independence and boosts their confidence. It’s also simply a lot of fun. Norte’s Youth Mountain Bike program keeps them fit, fast, strong, and gritty.
- After school program: Coach-led practices for 1st-12th grade. Seasons take place in both the spring and fall.
- Vasa Domingos: Weekly family shred that leaves from Timber Ridge. This program runs from Mother’s Day to Iceman every Sunday.
- Mini-Speed of Light: Weekly summertime “fake race” every Thursday night. Meetup on the Vasa and ride with Kolo TC.
- More Girls On Bikes: Girls on bikes are strong girls. And, strong girls change the world.
