Summer Balance Bike Meet-ups at the Clubhouse

Estrellas is Norte’s learn to ride program to help preschoolers and kindergarteners get cruising on balance bikes. These balance bike meetups are fun, free, and happen twice a week at the Norte Clubhouse all summer long.

Summer meetups begin when school is dismissed for the summer and runs through the end of August. Please check the Norte calendar for opening day.

  • Monday nights at 5:00 – 6:00 pm
  • Friday mornings at 10:00 – 11:00 am

Although we have several balance bikes (and helmets) to lend out, if your child has their own balance bike and helmet, please bring it. These kids work up an appetite, so we encourage bringing snacks or even dinner to throw yourself a picnic in the grassy area next to the Clubhouse The Norte Clubhouse is right next to the Civic Center playground, so everyone is encouraged to go back and forth. Ripping the zip-line at the playground is hard to pass up!

The Norte Estrellas summer meetups are volunteer-led. Our volunteers will be on hand to help over see the activity, assist with lending out bikes and helmets, and providing some on the fly seat adjustments (also, lots of cheering).

If you’re interested in helping make the summertime Estrellas meetups awesome and would like to volunteer to be on hand for a meet-up or two,  we’re always looking for new volunteers. It’s rewarding, easy-peasy, and fun! We promise. Signing up to help is easy at the Norte volunteer page.
