Big Adventures

Our fundraising events help fund our mission is to help build stronger, better connected, and more walk/bike-friendly communities by empowering the young and young at heart through educational programs, community services, and outreach activities. Get involved, get outside, and make some new friends while helping Norte serve your community.

Stella For Spokes

Every year, on the last Sunday in January, Trattoria Stella and Chef Myles Anton serve up a delicious community feast supporting Norte and active-for-life kids and families. Enjoy a meal to remember while helping Norte fulfill its mission.

24 Hours at the Civic Center

Always the second Saturday/Sunday in May, 24 Hours at the Civic Center is a fun, family-friendly, community move-a-thon relay event to raise funds for Norte’s youth scholarship fund. Sign up to walk, bike, run, and roll around the civic center path for one or more 30-minute shifts.

Patrick’s Heavy Ride With Friends

Challenge yourself — and help raise money for Norte youth scholarships — with a 140-mile long ride from Traverse City to the Mackinac Bridge or a shorter 80-mile option starting from Charlevoix. The riders put in the miles while their supporters generously support their cause — putting smiles on more young riders’ faces.

Adventurama is a game of strategy played on bicycles upon the neighborhood streets and trails of Traverse City. Part scavenger hunt, part urban expedition, part kids-on-bikes fundraiser. It’s geocaching and a costume contest. Always the second Saturday in September.
