Do you have decent bike repair and maintenance skills? Do you enjoy sharing that knowledge with others? Do you have a couple of hours to give? If you said yes, yes, yes, we need you!
BECOME A COMMUNITY BIKE SHOP MENTOR
Our kind, energetic and generous volunteers are the heart and soul of the Traverse City Community Bicycle Shop. Mentors not only work on Clubhouse projects, tune-up library bikes, answer questions, and provide guidance for Clubhouse members during Open Shop hours but also help teach basic bike repair and maintenance to our young apprentices as part of our Liderato program.
Mentors “work” 2-hour shifts and are repaid with heaps and heaps of praise. Usually some snacks, too.
Our times are currently by appointment only, and, as always, we’re flexible and want to work with you.
Even if you have only 2 hours a year to give, we’d love to have you on Team Orange.
If this sounds like something you’d like to do, or if you have more questions, please email Ben at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at the Clubhouse, 231-883-2404
