24 Hours at the Civic Center

24 Hours at the Civic Center is a fun, family-friendly, community move-a-thon relay event to raise friends and funds for Norte’s youth scholarship fund and the Civic Center. We will walk, bike, run, and roll from noon Saturday, May 15 to noon Sunday, May 16.

24HCC aims to create awareness for the growing presence of happy, healthy, strong people of all ages and abilities in Grand Traverse. At least one but no more than fifteen participants will walk, bike, run, or roll around the Civic Center path for 24 straight hours.

  • 20% of net proceeds to the Civic Center
  • 80% of net proceeds to Norte

Register today and begin accepting pledges from your friends and family.

Precautions: As Norte continues to do its part to #stopthespread of COVID-19, we ask that all participants arrive with masks and wear them throughout their walk or roll. We also ask that we give air-high fives to fellow Team Orange members to maintain socially distancing. Let’s continue to be safe.

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) strongly recommends continued effort to stop the spread. The following steps need to be taken together for the best protection.
  • Health Check – Self-monitor and stay home if you’re feeling sick.
  • Wear a mask – Take it off when you eat or drink, then put it back on, even outside.
  • Physically Distanced – Keep six feet apart as much as you can.
  • Wash Hands – Wash hands regularly. 20 seconds with soap and water.

Norte also supports socializing outside in well-ventilated areas and getting a vacinne as soon as available.  If we all work together, we will beat this pandemic.
