Participants come together for six 90–minute sessions to accelerate their local advocacy efforts in Norte’s fourth annual Advocate Academy. The academy is offered as a partnership between Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities’ T.C. Mobility Lab and Norte. This training is an immersive experience for Northern Michigan citizens interested in learning more about how local government works and how to influence it. Learn more at Norte Advocate Academy
- When: February 4–March 11, weekly on Thursdays at 5:30–7 pm.
- Where: Do to COVID-19 precautions, this year’s academy will be online.

- Criteria to apply: We ask that you have a commitment to attend six sessions. A minimum of 5 sessions is needed to receive your Advocate Academy certificate.
