Bikes for All MeetUps — Tuesdays

Choose your date and reserve a bike

Join Norte every Tuesday of the Month to extend our Bikes for All program for individuals with special needs who are 26 years and older. We have a growing fleet of adaptive bikes for all types of people with special needs. It doesn’t matter if a participant is ready to roll independently or needs assistance on one of our tandems or bucket bikes. We also have several adult tricycles.

Our Bikes for All MeetUps are about getting out, feeling the sun and wind on our faces, and meeting new friends.

  • WHEN: Every Tuesday, 10:30 am – 11:30 am, weather permitting.
  • WHERE: Norte’s Clubhouse, at 1213 W Civic Center Dr, Traverse City, MI 49686
  • WHO: Individuals, and their families, with special needs who are 26 or older.*
  • WHAT: A low-key, fun time on bikes at the Civic Center. Bring a lunch, and afterward, we will find some shade and swap stories.

When you RSVP, please select an appropriate bike for the rider’s needs.

*We continue to add Bikes for All programming as demand allows. Please reach out if one of our current programs doesn’t work for you, and we will work to fill your needs.

The Bikes for All program is an excellent way for a volunteer to contribute to Norte and give back to the community. We’re always in need of volunteer assistants. Even if you only have one day per week, let us know.

Maybe you have a tricycle or other adaptive bike we can borrow or rent? Let us know at

Bikes for All!

COVID POLICY: Norte is committed to the safety and well-being of our community. We confidently deliver programs and events because our staff and families follow preventive measures and monitoring protocols for COVID-19. We also generally look out for each other and stay outside as much as possible. If you are unvaccinated, please wear a mask. We encourage everyone eligible to vaccinate as soon as possible. If you are not feeling well, please join us the next time when you feel better. Let’s work together and #stopthespread.
