Farmland 5k & Free For All Bike
Farmland 5k and Free For All Bike
The Farmland 5K Run and Free for All Bike is the Traverse City Track Club’s “winter weather” running and biking event held on a dedicated cross country course on private farmland. A classic, European style turf grass course awaits you with optional knee high barriers including straw bales, fallen logs, wood fence and stone fence. Enjoy the natural challenge of running or biking in early December. There are three events to choose from: a 5k run, a seven-lap “free for all” bike race, and for the ambitious, a combined run/bike, as well.
- WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 4, at noon
- WHERE: 1045 Rasho Rd., Traverse City (near Courtade Elementary School)
- WHAT: A mix of running and biking over natural obstacles in unpredictable weather – what could possibly go wrong?
