Traverse City Safe Routes To School Public Input Meeting
This past July, the City of Traverse City, in partnership with Norte, TCAPS, GTACS, TBAISD, and Trinity Lutheran won a 10-school $2M Safe Routes to School infrastructure from the Michigan Department of Transportation. As part of the grant, there is a conditional commitment for 4.9 miles of linear trail & sidewalk expansion, bike lanes, traffic calming, crosswalk improvements and signage upgrades.
The plan is now ready and your feedback is requested.
What: Public input opportunity to review preliminary Safe Routes to School plans. This is a chance to have your questions answered and to speak in favor of specific aspects to the plan.
When: Friday, November 8th, 12-2pm
Where: Governmental Center, 2nd floor in the Commission Chamber, 400 Boardman Avenue
