Vasa Domingos is a family-friendly, weekly mountain bike group ride on the VASA trails.
We ride every Sunday through the summer and fall (Mother’s Day through The Iceman).
Mother’s Day to Father’s Day: Meet at 11:45. Rolling at 12.
Father’s Day to Labor Day: Meet at 9:45. Rolling at 10.
Labor Day to Iceman: Meet at 11:45. Rolling at 12.
Mother’s Day to Labor Day – meet at the VASA single-track trail head off Supply Road.
Labor Day to The Iceman – meet at Timber Ridge.
From preschoolers on balance bikes to high school seniors on 29ers, all ages and abilities are welcome.
4 distances available – but you’re totally welcome to do your own thing too! – for Spring/Summer rides on the single track:
0.5 miles – Perfect for our youngest shredders on balance bikes
3 miles – Flat and easy on the Kinglet Loop for our beginner shredders
9 miles – Ride to Marker #7. Vasa pathway to #13 our intermediate riders
11 miles – Ride to Marker #8. Shortcut to #12 for intermediate+ riders
13 miles – Full enchilada for our advanced riders
3 distances available for the Fall rides from Timber Ridge:
5k – Flat and easy around Timber Ridge for our youngest shredders
10k – Iceman’s Slush Cup for our intermediate riders
25k – Big Vasa loop for advanced riders
Let’s ride bikes on dirt, get fit, explore the woods, build confidence and have FUN. Probably eat some snacks after, too.
Vasa Domingos is not a guided ride. Think of it as a group ride for awesome kids and their families. We 100% support kids who know their way and have the necessary skills to ride alone/sans adult but we ask that parents ride with their child if not.
