Join Northern Michigan winter enthusiasts in celebrating the all-year enjoyment of bicycles and help make Northern Michigan the Winter Bike Champion of the world.

Winter Bike to Work Day is an international observance of rolling in the snow and cold. It falls annually on the second Friday of February. That means, this year, we ride on February 12. 

How to join? First thing, commit to Ride at We invite you to include a ride to school for our young riders because, well, why not?

We will ride together—apart—all over Northern Michigan on February 12.

Due to COVID-19, many of you may be working or schooling at home. That won’t stop us from getting out for a little spin. We expect that many of us will cross paths and can send a quick wave and ding.

We’re also inviting you to join Norte for a virtual lunch at noon. It will be hosted by Norte’s Advcoacy Directory Gary Howe, who will lead some engaging activities for everyone to join. If interested, please email Gary, and he will send you the link to the lunch closer to February 12.
