2021 Spring Work Bee at the Civic Center

2021 Spring Work Bee at the Civic Center
Please join us for our Annual Spring Work Bee on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
You’ll have our utmost appreciation — and we’ll provide lunch, too!
Please complete the Norte Volunteer Application, and RSVP HERE!
HOW IT WORKS
Please meet us at the Clubhouse at 10 am. We’ll split up tasks and start tackling projects. We have projects for all physical abilities and interests. A selection of things we’ll need help with:
- Organizing the Wheelhouse (Prepping for the giant yard sale on May 2!)
- Opening up and airing out the Clubhouse from its winter semi-hibernation, including setting up our skills track.
- Putting up Clubhouse and Wheelhouse tents
- Building shelves, moving gear, and generally giving everything a spring cleaning.
We’re looking for 15 volunteers, but more are always welcome. We’d also appreciate the help of any tools (leaf blowers, brooms, drills) you may have on hand. Contact Lauren with any questions or offers at lauren@elgruponorte.org.
Precautions: As Norte continues to do its part to #stopthespread of COVID-19, we ask that all volunteers arrive with masks and wear them throughout the work bee. We also ask that we maintain social distancing recommendations as much as possible. We will limit the number of people inside at any one time, and much of the work will take place outside.
See you soon!
- Health Check – Self-monitor and stay home if you’re feeling sick.
- Wear a mask – Take it off when you eat or drink, then put it back on, even outside.
- Physically Distanced – Keep six feet apart as much as you can.
- Wash Hands – Wash hands regularly. 20 seconds with soap and water.
Norte also supports socializing outside in well-ventilated areas and getting a vaccine as soon as available. If we all work together, we will beat this pandemic.
